 Unsilent Revolution: Television News and American Public Life, 1948-1991 by Robert Donovan, Unsilent Revolution is the story of the impact television news has had on politics, current events and the print media. Looking at major events over the past four decades, this work is an episodic history of the rise and ascendency of television news.
